I am an experienced educator who looks for creative ways to help students improve their Reading, Writing, Math, Science, or Social Studies. I am certified to teach elementary school, and also English for students through 12th grade. I am ESOL endorsed to teach English to students who are learning it as a second language. I have taught and tutored Language Arts to elementary students, and also helped to prepare them for state achievement tests. I am very comfortable tutoring a variety of subjects and would like to work with your student on anything from organization and study skills to AP English Language and Composition, including Elementary Math, Essay Editing, Literature, High School or College English, and Comparative Literature. I'm a Florida native who relocated to NYC in 2013. I have a BA in English from the University of Central Florida, an MA in Teaching from Rollins College, and have a goal of completing a PhD in English. In my free time, I enjoy running, cooking, reading, writing, and spectator sports. I'm an avid fan of all Miami sports teams, especially the Dolphins, the Hurricanes, and the Heat, and still follow the University of Central Florida Knights.
